WISH AND FEEDBACK !

Image
I have nothing much to say other than i truly enjoyed my usrah 2 classes! On our last class we had a little party and a secret santa session and it was literally the highlight of my week! i was looking forward to the day a lot and safe to say it was the best class of the week, we exchanged gifts and everyone brought foods for each other to enjoy, it was a nice experience.  (the gift i got from the secret santa session!) (me and my group mate brought the sate! the pizza and bihun was good too, and of course the peach strudel sister iman brought!)

REFELCTION OS USRAH 2

I was putting off completing my usrah class because I dont like night classes huhu, but turns out, usrah class was one of those classes that I look forward to the most during the week. It was like a little break from all of these hard, core subjects that I'm taking.  In Usrah 1, we learnt about the pillar of Iman, and usrah 2 taught us about the pillars of Islam, so I believe that these two courses are crucial during our university years because they can help us become closer to our religion and strengthen our faith!  i thoroughly enjoyed both usrah 1 and usrah 2, but personally usrah 2 has helped me grow closer with my classmates, perhaps because the environment was more laid back, and also because I'm already in my fourth semester, so I'm more comfortable now in general.  Oh, and I love all the photography sessions at the end of class!

USRAH 2

So, in Usrah 2, our instructor, Sister Iman asked us to do a roleplay for our assessment, and oh my god I was scaredddd because I obviously don't know how to act. But thankfully, it was just a chill session between us classmates, and I was the narrator, so I didn't have to act XD. So anyway, our group (group 2) chose the topic TAKRIM regarding its importance during Ramadan. Takrim is basically respecting one another. so we decided to act out the scenes from a recent case in Malaysia during Ramadan this year, it has gone viral through social media platforms like X, and we interpreted that scene with our own twist!  https://www.therakyatpost.com/news/malaysia/2025/03/17/watch-pakcik-in-religious-garb-demands-chinese-youths-id-during-ramadan-eating-incident/ This is one of the cases that occurred during Ramadan that relates to Takrim (respect). And below is our poster for the topic!
PART 6 - WHAT HAVE I LEARNT AND HOW DO I FEEL AFTER COMPLETING MY TASK Usrah Budi 1 taught me a lot about Islam and its basic teachings, though it on the surface level but i think it great because it made us reconnect with the knowledges that were already in our subconscious mind. like we learnt about the pillars of Imaan and the pillars of Islam, though these are the very basic knowledge to a Muslim, it is good to have a reminder about all these things because we might stray away from it from time to time as we are only human, it is hard to stay istiqomah.  After finishing my task i felt relieved, though it is not a huge load of task but i love ticking things off on my to do list so it is an accomplishment for me to finish the assignments. i'm willing to learn more about Islam though especially in this setting as it is really chill and laid back.

PART 5 - CONTRIBUTION TO SOCIETY  Recently, for one of our class we had a community work with a PPR around here, we taught the kids basic English communications and even then for someone who is under privileged that can be a bit of help of them, whether it made them become more confident in speaking English or wanting to learn English enthusiastically in school. i feel like that community work reminds me a lot of the scout community work that i used to take part in previously. it also made me want to do more community and volunteer work towards the society that i live in.  (me and my friends with the kids from PPR Sungai Bonus) oh and i also love donating blood, makes me feel useful ❤

PART 4 -  ACCOMPLISHMENT 💪 I managed to pursue my study here, i have been wanting to come here ever since my sister told me sorts of stories about how IIUM is a good place to continue my study at. plus i got in with the major that i genuinely love (BENL was my first choice in UPU)  (picture i took during taaruf week)

PART 3 - FUTURE GOALS 👀 ever since i was a teenager i have been wanting to publish a poetry book, and since i'm currently learning literature i hope that i can incorporate what i have learnt and publish my own series of poetry book later on.  (my first ever poetry book that i bought with my own money, at 14 i think?) other than that, i wanted to get married because i have seen people around me live with their partner happily and i feel like its such a beautiful feeling, so i guess i wanted to experience that myself. i dont know when will i get married but i hope before i turn 30 🙊
